I am a dog person, and I have 2 of them to prove it. Or course if you would like to adopt them I might listen.

Ginger

While I was stationed in Guam, Ginger adopted me.

She is a genuine Guam navite boonie dog. One day she arrived on the back porch of my apartment looking ragged and skeletal. I gave her some cheerios since I figgured she couldn't tolerate meat. The next night she was scratching on the front door to my place so she got let in.

Later after she made it clear that I was being adopted I had her fixed and the rest is history.

She followed me to Korea, was incarcerated at Ft Leavenworth with a foster family, and now lives in my apartment in Massachusetts.

This is my "little" dog... little only because he is younger, and acts stupider.

After Ginger got broked out of Leavenworth, we deciced she needed a friend and she picked Rebel out at the pound. The poung lied and said he was full grown at 45 pounds.....he is now about 75 pounds, but she still wins all the fights.

He is half shepherd and some kind of hound.

By the way a Boonie dog is simply a feral stray dog that roams the jungles of Guam.
